Description
When I was standing on the beach of Puerto Morin(north of Lima), I noticed this boat. There was nobody around . It was happyly resting and enjoying the late afternoon warm sunshine in the sandy shallow water of the beach. I was attracted by this peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. So, I took a photo. Back to Lima, I painted it.

Dave, I am so flattered by your kindly encouragement. It is very nice of you. I appreciate it indeed. Only an artist know the difficulty of interpreting from the reality to a painting. Best wishes to you too.

Alan, I am so glad that you like it. This is my first boat. I am learning how to paint by internet classes. In our workshop, there are a few full time and part time painters. They paint very well. One of the teachers I am learning from is Richard Robinson. I also bought classes fromJohannes Vloothuis and Daniel Edmondson. They are all very good but different. I just typed their name and then internet let me get into their webs. I am very happy about their teaching. this painting shows.

Phylis , I am so glad that you enjoy this boat. Thank you so much for your nice comment. It is the first boat that I have ever painted. The original painting I gave to a missionary lady as a gift. I will try to paint more boats and to be better. I need your encouragement. Good luck for your art work .

Thank you, Warren. I am practising brushstroke, color skill and perspectives I learned from our previous workshops of The Complete Artist. I am so happy that you enjoy it. I checked your web and found many beautiful paintings and photos. Happy for you. If you have time, you may like to join our workshops or watch how our teacher, Richard Robinson, teach us. I learned a lot from him and my classmates. By the way, this is my first try to paint a boat. Thank you again for your encouragement.
